Early in the morning, we will drive to Kande and then trek to Pothana. From Kande, the trek ascends through rhododendron (laliguras), oak, sandalwood forests until we reach a village called Dhampus which is a very beautiful village. It is a Gurung community village providing excellent view of the Annapurna range. After that we will further ascend along stone-paved path and mossy trees.
Set out early towards Badal Danda and witness the breathtaking beauty of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain along the way. Traverse through a forest and enjoy panoramic views of Hiunchuli, as well as the stunning Modi Khola valley located in the Annapurna sanctuary.
Continue your trek from Badal Danda towards High Camp, where you will experience a short but steep climb. As you ascend, you will leave the forest behind and be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Annapurna range from High Camp.
Prepare for a longer day of trekking as you ascend to an altitude of 5000m. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the great ice fields and blue glaciers of the sanctuary wall, as well as unique and fabulous views of the mountains. After taking in the sights, descend towards middle camp and rest after a long and rewarding day.
Descend from Mardi Himal Base Camp and continue your trek towards Siding. From there, we will drive back to the wonderful city of Pokhara, reflecting on the incredible journey and unforgettable experiences of the past few days.
